About ALIVE on the ISLAND - Festival of Christian Unity

ALIVE on the ISLAND ~ Festival of Christian Unity is a new festival that will bring together some of the finest Christian artists and Christians of various backgrounds to celebrate and share the power of the Gospel in the truly inspirational setting of Cape Breton Island. The event is presented by the Cape Breton Christian Music Festival Society, comprised of committed Christians with a passion to serve God in bringing this event to fruition.

The ALIVE on the ISLAND Festival will be guided by these core values:

Jesus Centred – The festival will be driven according to the teachings of Jesus. In Matthew 22:37-39, He simply stated that we should love God and love others. All decisions will strive to honour those values.

Unifying – The festival aim will be to unite Christians by celebrating what we share in common, respecting each other’s differences and fostering an environment that will allow bridges to be built.

Harmonious – Festival goers can expect to enjoy the natural setting and unique Cape Breton spirit in a way that is harmonious with the community and its environment.
